Executive Summary
The "Senior Frontend Developer" role was created to take ownership of the FE architecture and framework.
This seed stage startup is assisted by the Head of Talent Acquisition from their main VC fund. Initially, the skillset we were after was pretty niche as it required micro-frontend experience. We conducted a national search, which led to:

Sourcing Strategy
Companies mapped: 1778
RegEx used: 533
We casted our net at scale: using 964 keywords to map the whole of Australia. This returned more than 6k profiles, which our software scanned to surface the following:
2/3 had the desired level of experience
Only 159 met the initial requirements of Senior FE Dev with micro-frontends (which we suggested to broaden to micro-services), React.js and TypeScript !
We informed the Start-up on how restrictive "micro-frontend" experience was. They accepted to drop the requirement, which allowed to widen the pool, as follows:
An interesting observation is that, the LinkedIn's search engine merely returned a quarter of the profiles that were actually in target. With a 90% accuracy, this saved a considerable amount of profile screening time!
The most scarce skill is experience with Unit Testing framework
